Kevin Oakley

Kevin Oakley is the most trusted name in new home marketing to builders and developers across North America. He has over 18 years of experience running marketing and sales operations for home builders of all shapes, sizes, and areas of expertise. Kevin has worked for two different multi-billion dollar revenue builders (NVR & Maronda Homes) as well as for a private family-owned builder (Heartland Homes). He was intimately involved with the development, marketing, and sale of over 2 billion dollars in new homes prior to joining Do You Convert.

During his time with NVR, a top 5 home builder, Kevin had full operational responsibility for land, operations, construction, and sales for two home building divisions in the Pittsburgh MSA. While at Heartland Homes, Kevin’s management helped to grow sales by 15-20% each year during the downturn from 2008 – 2012 while simultaneously shrinking the marketing budget each year.

Kevin’s extensive background and time spent in the trenches allows him to uniquely connect with the challenges you face in today’s market. From launching new communities, increasing online lead volume or conversion, improving your customer’s experience, lowering marketing costs, strategic planning, and so much more – he has an outline for success. Jen Barkan

With over 17 years in sales and marketing for new home builders, Jen Barkan brings frontline experience to Do You Convert as Online Sales Coach. Since joining the DYC team in 2017, Jen has coached and trained hundreds of online sales specialists and worked with builders across the country to help develop their online sales programs. In addition to helping builders, Jen is a regular speaker at industry events and webinars and hosts a monthly series called Online People Talking, OPT, where she highlights Online Sales Specialists.

Prior to joining DYC, Jen developed and managed the Online Sales Program for Rose & Womble Realty’s New Homes division in Hampton Roads, which grew to represent 20 builders and over 45 communities.

In 2016, she was named Online Sales Consultant of the Year by the National Sales and Marketing Council of the National Home Builders Association and was also a Silver Award winner in 2015. In 2016, Jen received Professional Builder Magazine’s 40 under 40 award.

When Jen isn’t coaching online sales specialists, she’s spending time with her family and five rescue pups.

Will Duderstadt

Will Duderstadt is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at M/I Homes, one of the nation’s leading builders of single-family homes, having delivered over 130,000 homes. He oversees digital and tradition marketing campaigns and strategy for 15 divisions in 11 states. Will provides insight and leadership for M/I Homes’ Internet Sales program and trains the team in best practices for lead creation and management.

Linnea Chapman

Linnea Chapman is corporate VP of marketing at Trumark Homes, a Pro Builder 40 Under 40 honoree, and an innovator in the use of digital tools to build trust and transparency. Prior to entering homebuilding, she started a social stationery company, Somersault Press, which was featured on Oprah’s “The O List.”

Julie Jarnagin

With over 15 years of experience in home building, Julie possesses practical, first-hand knowledge of the industry and real-world insights into the marketing challenges builders face. Before joining the Do You Convert team, she worked in marketing for Ideal Homes, an award-winning, mid-sized home builder in Oklahoma. She has an extensive background in digital marketing, writing, content creation, and CRM management. Julie earned a BA in Mass Communication from the University of Oklahoma. She and her family live in southeast Louisiana where she also enjoys training Jiu Jitsu and writing novels.

Rob Hahn

Rob Hahn is the Founder and CEO of Decentre Property Exchange (DPX), an online auction-based MLS bringing transparency and efficiency to North American real estate. He is also the managing Partner of 7DS Associates – a strategy consulting firm specializing in the residential real estate industry.
With a varied background from Wall Street, corporate law, technology, product development, media and entertainment, startups, fashion and professional card player, Rob brings a unique perspective to business problems. Rob started in real estate at a specialized commercial real estate firm investing in airplane hangars (true story), then moved to Realogy, where he headed the interactive marketing for Coldwell Banker Commercial before launching his consulting firm. In 2022, having seen the power and promise of distributed ledgers and distributed computing, he launched Decentre Property Exchange to get involved in the power of decentralization.
Often called the best demotivational speaker in real estate, Rob is a frequent speaker at events such as Inman, T3 Connect, Gathering of Eagles, NARPM, franchise and brokerage events, national, state and local MLS and Association events, and is available for weddings and bar mitzvahs.
Rob writes the well-known blog Notorious R.O.B. where he opines on topics in real estate, technology, law, marketing, economy, politics, society and strategy through far-too-long posts. He is also the co-host of the influential Industry Relations podcast with Greg Robertson. Named to the Inman 100 Most Influential List despite his best efforts, Rob notes that with great power comes great responsibility… and with very little power comes very little responsibility.
He is a graduate of Yale University, with a BA in Philosophy. The year he graduated, all of the Wall Street Philosophy Firms were going through a recession, so he added a law degree from NYU along with student loans the size of a mortgage. He lives in Las Vegas with his lovely wife Sunny and two misbehaving dogs.

Karla Tuten

Karla has 12 years of experience in graphic design and has been designing for real estate and developers since 2014. Her graphic design experience combined with her new-home marketing background gives her a unique perspective and invaluable skills to best serve home builders.

Before joining Do You Convert, she ran her own successful design company that primarily worked within the real estate sector. She also served as marketing director for a private, family-owned homebuilder where she rebranded the company, managed the OSC, and executed their marketing strategy.

Karla’s design work is multifaceted and encompasses visual brand identities, signage programs, print, advertising, and web design. She’s passionate about rebranding and refreshing brands for builders by listening to their stories and making impactful changes through design.

With a broad range of experience working with teams of all sizes, she’s able to demonstrate that a well-designed brand is achievable and provide tools for success. Karla believes good design strengthens your brand, ignites confidence with internal staff, supports your sales teams, and creates confidence and trust with buyers.

In 2021, Karla was named one of Probuilder Magazine’s 40 Under 40. She received her certificate in Brand Management from Cornell in 2023, and she serves as an American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) Mentor.

When she isn’t designing, you can find her baking cookies and bread, walking on her under-the-desk treadmill, taking short weekend trips to explore other cities, and sending handwritten cards.

Beth Byrd

In her role as the Director of Sales & Marketing for Beacon Homes, Beth Byrd oversees the sales, marketing, and design teams in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. With twenty-five years of experience in a wide variety of positions in the design and construction industry in California and Oklahoma, she brings front line experience to each team she manages. In Beth’s ten years with Beacon, the company has quadrupled its sales volume. Being part of such exponential growth has allowed her to implement new processes, systems, and training working hand in hand with some of the best minds in our industry. When she is not working, Beth enjoys gardening, baking, thrifting, and spending time with her husband and their blended family of five boys.

Andrew Peek

Andrew Peek has over 8 years of experience managing performance-driven digital marketing campaigns for businesses in a variety of industries. In total, Andrew has directly managed well over 10 million dollars in Google & Facebook Advertising. He believes in straightforward approaches to generating high-quality leads while making the most efficient use of the budget available. At the end of the day, all that matters to him are results and constant improvement.

Prior to joining Do You Convert, Andrew owned a digital marketing agency that primarily focused on serving law firms and legal experts. His extensive background in working directly with clients on high-pressure “shoestring” budgets set the foundation for his tremendous impact on all Do You Convert partners.

Casey Needham

Casey is an Ohio State University grad and brings a vast experience in marketing and visual content to the table. He is currently the Visual Content Director at M/I Homes.

Jessie Suggs

Jessie is an Online Sales Coach with Do You Convert and has over seven years of home builder sales and marketing experience. She began her career with Mungo Homes in marketing, then transitioned to an online sales specialist role, ultimately serving more than 140 communities across the Southeast.

In 2020, Jessie led an online sales team that managed more than 10,000 leads and generated more than $146 million in sales revenue. A three-time honoree of Mungo Homes’ CEO Circle of Excellence, Jessie is a National Home Builders Association Silver Award Winner for 2019 and 2020, was awarded the 2018 Internet Lead Specialist of the Year by the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina, and was recognized as a Home Building Industry Leader by Professional Builder in the annual 40 under 40 Class!

Jessie resides in South Carolina with her husband, Chase, their two dogs, six goats and chickens. In her free time, you can find her playing golf, going to concerts, serving at church, and traveling to new places.

Lokal Homes

Nathan Levy

A University of Denver graduate, Nate brings a diverse background from his work at Lokal, commercial real estate, land development, venture capital, private equity and entrepreneurship. He earned an MBA and an MS Information Systems from Boston University and likes using data-driven decision making to guide the sales and marketing departments.

Beth Russell

Beth joins DYC with over 13 years of experience in Sales and Marketing. Most recently, she spent seven years with a production builder based in Texas. There, she served as an onsite Sales Executive, and then built out the internal Marketing and Online Sales departments. Under her leadership, the Marketing and Online Sales team generated over $150 million in yearly sales and contributed nearly 70% of company sales. Beth also collaborated on the launch of four companies/brands, designed and launched three websites, and refreshed the company’s brand.

Passionate about building teams, brand stories, and customer journeys, Beth excels at creating a data-driven, holistic marketing strategy that thrives on Sales and Marketing collaboration.

Named one of Builder Magazine’s 40 Under Forty class of 2019, Beth received NAHB’s the Nationals Silver Award for Marketing Professional of the Year in 2022. Beth is a respected industry expert. She has spoken at the International Builder Show (IBS) four times and served as a panelist at the Sales and Marketing Summit twice. Her knowledge and expertise have had a significant impact on the industry, and she is always willing to share insights from her experience.

She currently resides in Georgia with her husband, two children, and two dogs. They frequently move across the country due to her husband’s military career but call Maryland home. In her free time, you can find her eating, spending time with her family, or looking up useless movie facts.

Jackie Lipinski

Jackie Lipinski is an accomplished marketing professional with a passion for driving results in the home building industry. She joined Do You Convert with over five years of experience as the Marketing Director for a luxury home builder (American Classic Homes) in Washington State with over $80 million in annual revenue, and an average sales price over $1.5 million. Her expertise extends beyond luxury homes, as she served as the Director of Marketing for the multi-family division as well, successfully managing the presale launch programs for over 700 units.

As a Marketing Coach at Do You Convert, Jackie excels in training home builder marketing teams to analyze challenges, develop actionable plans, and implement strategies to drive results. She works with Home Builders in over twenty states with a total combined estimated revenue of $2 billion dollars. Jackie’s ability to navigate diverse segments of the market demonstrates her versatility and adaptability in delivering impactful solutions. Her unique blend of analytical prowess, abstract thinking, and problem-solving skills sets her apart as a strategic thinker who knows how to achieve tangible outcomes for home builders nationwide.

Jackie thrives on creating and implementing marketing processes where none had existed before. She possesses a keen eye for identifying untapped opportunities and leveraging them to elevate home builders in any market. Originally from Illinois, Jackie currently resides in the greater Seattle area of Washington state with her husband, Matt, and their two children. In her free time, Jackie loves to hike and is working on her goal of visiting all the National Parks in America. She has currently visited 18 out of the 63 national parks in the USA.

Nicole Curtis, Director of Marketing for Hartford Homes, recently awarded Marketing Professional of the Year, is passionate about crafting innovative marketing strategies that resonate with today’s buyers. With a keen eye for trends and a knack for thinking outside the box, Nicole is dedicated to pushing boundaries and redefining the way Hartford connects with its audience.

Drawing on a background in social media and digital marketing, Nicole is a trailblazer in leveraging social platforms to engage with and educate buyers in a fun, memorable and impressionable way. She realizes that potential buyers are inundated daily with numerous messages from various builders all containing identical content, and she is fixated on distinguishing Hartford Homes from the masses. Amanda Martin

Amanda joined Do You Convert in 2019 with more than four years of first-hand experience as an Online Sales Specialist with a leading local builder. Amanda brings everyday expertise and an added layer of support, training and coaching to Do You Convert.

In her senior role as an Online Sales Specialist, Amanda managed the Online Sales Program for Royal Oaks Homes in Raleigh, NC. During her time with the company, she helped to develop extensive reporting and trained agents on the use of CRM while helping clients start their journey to finding their new home.

Amanda resides in Michigan with her husband Ryan, daughter Haylee, and son Jacob. She graduated from the College of Business at East Carolina University. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Rachel Peters

Rachel Peters has seven years of homebuilder marketing experience and is the Marketing Manager for Keystone Custom Homes. She specializes in bringing brands to life and spoke at the 2024 International Builders Show about advanced content strategies. From eye-catching Instagram reels to compelling ad copy, long form blog content, virtual tools, automated email series, and more, Rachel’s passion lies in creating data-backed, high touch experiences that convert buyers from initial click through contract (and beyond!).

Rachel is a member of Do You Convert’s Marketing Leadership Collective and serves on Realtor.com’s Builder Advisory Board.

Outside of work hours, you can find her exploring trails with her dogs Scout and Tilly, playing rec volleyball or pickleball, and spending time with friends & family.
